This was the morning of my coldest night on Planet Earth. We wore all our clothes and still we were cold. we couldnt go anywhere either because the trails were covered so we had to wait it out. Try spending more than 24 hours in a tent, its not very pleasurable.

The Valdez Peninsula is the only place in the world where the Killer whales swim onto the beach to catch the sealions. We were there on the day that they were doing this. The photo doesn't do the experience justice at all!
