Beach day, Mirasflores and siesta

Today we met up with our British friends Anna and Justine again and took a nice long walk down the beach. So long, in fact, that we ended up back in Mirasflores! I guess it saved us an 8 soles cab ride (about $3). We had lunch at a nice little place, then took a cab back to the hostel for a mid-afternoon rest. In a little while Tessa, Devin and I are parting ways from our Britannic counterparts as we leave for a redeye bus ride to Arequipa. We stocked up on tons of snacks and water for the ride at the local supermarket, but it promises to be a pretty posh bus since they´re serving us dinner! We didn´t even get served food on the plane (thanks budget airline) so we´re hoping for the best. Since there won´t be much to report tonight, here are some pictures of our beach trip, and I´m going to try to post a video from yesterday.
