WE HAVE ARRIVED !!!

Leaving a beautiful sun shiny day at my parents house we set off with trepidation and then promptly got stuck in some serious traffic jams on route to airport due to closure of whole M25 between two junctions. Thankfully made it with just enough time and after a tearful farewell, we boarded the plane and set old blighty firmly behind us. Bye bye

A fairly uneventful flight saw us arriving at Sao Paulo airport in Brazil at about 05:30 on Saturday morning. Our flight wasn´t until 20:05 later the same day and due to passport controls, we spent 15 hours kicking around the rather dull and SMALL airport departure lounges trying (and failing) to blag our way into various VIP lounges. At first we were very well behaved and respectful, but as boredom and cabin fever set in we became more and more childish; racing eachother on the elevators the wrong way etc

Finally arrived Lima at about midnight. Was sad to fly at night in this instance, it would have been very cool to fly over the massive expanse of Brazilian jungle that forms the majority of south america.

Lima is very similar to northern africa and some other slightly more thirdy worldy type places in appearance. With houses part finished and quite alot of dirt everywhere. Architechture is the box like structures one would expect and crazy madness envolving elecricity cables can´t mention !!!

A mix up by GAP Adventure Co (crapards) meant they double booked our rooms so we made a hasty trasfer to another hotel - we remained incredibly calm given the lateness of the day and the fact that we had been travelling for over 40 hours !!!

BONUS hotel upgrade though, as this place gives us free breakfast and internet accress Yipee !!!

So just checking emails and then heading off to check out the fantastic sights of Lovey Cloud covered Lima. Dumb ass Janna left her USB cable at home so until i replace it, can´t upload images. Dilbert !!!
