The hotel in Lima is very comfortable and I slept well, waking before 6:00.

We were not due to be collected to go to the airport until 16:00 to catch our flight home at 20:00 so we spent the morning working in our room - I wrote more of this blog and uploaded photos - and then we went out.

We walked down to the sea-front first of all to investigate an underground shopping mall and sea the Pacific Ocean. On the way I took a photo of one of the private gardens and street sellers of fruit to illustrate the character of Miraflores which is definitely a rather upmarket part of Lima. We had lunch in an upmarket Japanese restaurant.

The flight home via Schipol was fine - though arriving back in Norwich to 12 degrees C was a bit of a shock.

It had been a wonderful adventure.

For lunch we went into a Japanese style restaurant on the ground floor of a posh looking office block housing finance and media companies.
