we are not...we are still in cuzco, unaffected by the earthquake and completely allright.

We did write to the red cross to see if they needed help in the disaster areas, but inexperienced doofus´seems to be not what they were looking for. Our offer was actually turned down.

As usual, in a hurry, still no chance to finish the last blog entry or the 3 in my head from before that. We are off on some backwoods trick way up to macchu pichu which we are pretty sure is doable. Some jerk corporation has a monopoly on the trains to MP and apparently, this may be a trick way to avoid the 75 dollar scam train ride, or else it´s a way to lure cheap gringos into some cruel joke. Can´t wait to find out.

Anyway 500 so far dead here in Peru, the news here is very graphic and very heartbreaking. Don´t know how big news it is in the states, prolly just a blurb.

Hopefully we will have time for more writing in 2 days when we reemerge in a place with electricity again.

Ciao, amigos.

phew!
but had checked the map and figured still Cuzco. Yes in the press here. Back home, political race war boiling. Thomas down, and Sapir next. Also missing LA Dems queeny gubnertorial commercials. As long as y'all are back for the K-ville premier, not missing a thing!
