We spent the first half of day three traversing the side of a mountain above la valle sagrada. As these cows can probably attest, the view was incredible.

There is an ancient granite quarry near the Cacachama community. A few years ago, archaeologists discovered these remains. Our guide pointed to a cave and told us we can go talk to his ancestors in there. This is what we found when we went in.

Means sun gate in Quechua. Not the same one that is at Machu Picchu, but stunning nonetheless.

In the Sacred Valley, about hours from Cuzco. We stopped there for about 1/2 a day on our way back from Machu Picchu to Cuzco.
