from the puerta del sol
so much more to experience than the actual physical site - this is how the INCA came into town - wainapicchu and machupicchu inbackground - inca trail in foreground They arrive sharply at 10am, in droves as if locust - departing cusco to aguas calientes at 6am and arriving around 930am... like robots, programed by the locals to get the bus tickett upto machupiccu, get water, get a rain pnocho, check into the hotel -
much like disneyland for the affluent - world travelling - bored - middle to old age...
we donĀ“t remember days or places perse - it ismore we remember moments in our lives - it does not matter much if the image on paper or magnetic is aestetically acurate or focused or good - it is the moment shared alone with God,with friends or with temporary companions in travel.
headed backto cusco and then to either the altiplano - puno or the amazon - puerto maldonado
the photographer gets to capture one point in time whcih God has engineered and cretaed during the one moment of creation -
btw - how do people overseas know you are an american -
- they whistle at you while you are sitting journaling in machupicchu - they want you to move for because you are in the way of their photo
- they
a little different
machupicchu andwainapicchu complain how slow the internet is in aguas calientes - machupicchu
peace and love - juan
