No photos are allowed to be taken inside the house, but I stole a "peep" inside the summer bar- one of my favourite places in the house. Such an amazing conglomeration of objects and decorative features! He loved his "ladies " of the sea!

Set up like an art installation, this bell tower and boat was a favourite part of the garden for Neruda.

The tiny community is growing dramatically, with Neruda's name and house museum, the main drawcard. here, a new restaurant uses the Neruda name to promote it's business, together with a great wall mural of Neruda himself in his study with a view out to the ocean.

Well, the photos didn't turn out, but the view from down below from the southern end of the city were lovely. Then we found this small concrete acknowledgement of Vina del Mar's connection to Long Beach California. Graffitied, of course!!
