Yesterday we had our bus journey to Santiago, Chile. We were able to see the most spectacular scenery as we drove round and through the Andes. At the border, which was quite scarey in the middle of the mountains. We declared that we had fruit (apples) and they took our lush, huge apples of us!!!!!!3 of them! We were not happy!!!! Luckily we had eaten our sandwiches 5 mins before, cos they would have had them aswell! On the other side of the border you start your decent down the mountains. This involved the windiest, smallest roads on a coach ever! On one side there were mountains, on the other were sheer drops! Our mums would have hated it!
Arrived in Chile, managed to get in a hostel, it´s an old mansion type building called Casa Roja. That night they were having a bbq so we signed up! It was lovely.

Today, after a disturbed nights sleep, as we are in a dorm with thoughtless people, we have gone for a look around the city. We are winding down now for new zealand, can´t wait, we go on Monday!!
