Hi there.....

This is just solo mom writing here. Kids are next door playing videogames that they never get to play in the US (we are taking a break in a very US like mall). Anything to give them comfort. In about an hour we are headed back to El Melon and then tomorrow we head to Chillan. Monica and Ronald (our Chilean friends and official tour guides) really are adventurers extraordinaire. The kids have been such troopers....going along with everything. Since John´s departure (we miss you much) the kids have shown new colors. They know it is two against one here and they are winning! Yesterday Monica and Ronald asked if we ever spanked!😊 Oh well, all in all they really are doing great. We were in Valle de Elqui yesterday. Very surreal. Up in the Andes (home of poet Gabriela Mistral....nobel laureate in poetry) in very, very small towns. Incredibly clear skies, etc. Anyhow. Max is spending most of his time reliving the Harry Potter movie. He continues to carve out his imaginary play time and Isabel is counting the days until dad greats her at the airport with a bratwurst. Today she requested that you bring two for her John.

Not much more to say as I have run out of time. Looking forward to seeing you all. And my only regrete is that I have not been able to post many photos. Darn Chileans.....just too darn active😊

See you very soon.

Saturday- Love to hear of your adventures. Ingrid, I admire your independence. Folks have run to the bookstores to collect the final Harry Potter. Don't know if he dies yet or not... and can't tell. Adventure on! Love, Auntie
