Pucon and Villarricca Volcano

A two hour bus ride inland from Valdivia is the resort town of Pucon nestled on the shores of Lago Villarricca and in the shadow of the volcano of the same name. It is a truly stunning location and as the book said, nature smiled on Pucon.

Four days passed dreamily away on the lakeside beaches, at nearby thermal spas, and walking through the rolling farmland. It is relaxed and friendly and we loved it.
