For today we decided to mainly relax and do just a few short walks around San Pedro. Firstly we headed to Valle de la Muerte /dead valley/, and the only things we could see were stones and sand, no wonder nothing live or grow here. The heat was unbelievable and no shade to be found, so we didnt walk it all and after half an hour we turned back. Our next stop was Pukara de Quitor, a tiny fortress from 12th century, located on one of the hill near San Pedro. To get up in that heat was a hard fight just to see that only thing remain were the fortification walls, but view from there was rewarding. And that was it for that day, mainly thanked to the sun. Chile is so far the first country where they use receipts every time we paid. And also they have got prices everywhere so we can be sure they are not overcharging us.
