Staying at a fab little guest house called Margaridas Pousada near the seafront in Ipanema. Walked along beach in the morning, full of trendy Brazilians sunbathing & swimming - may not have entirely blended in with my English tourist styling...Later on caught cablecar up Sugarloaf mountain, fantastic views as sun set over mountains & city lights came on - perfect location for first beer of the trip.
