Carnaval. It really deserves its own entry, doesn’t it? Ok, so it’s a more pricey venture, but truly like nothing else you’ll ever see. We left Petrópolis to arrive in Rio around 5pm. Wow, Macy's parade is kid stuff compared to this. I bet Mardi Gras is also lacking. Truly amazing sights. We missed seeing your wig Quinn...Great talking to you two today. For your sakes, glad Carnaval is over. What if it was every day? Get some RnR. I think you both need it. So happy you are having the time of your life. NO worries only enjoying life to its fullest. You'll never regret these times....and the stories you can tell for years to come....Be safe and keep JD organized....lol sharon

Darwin!!!
So nice to see this with all the Darwin bashing we have to put up with in the good ol' USA. :) I cannot believe how detailed all of these floats are and John's photos are so crisp and clear. OK, I'm going to stop commenting on every photo so you can get out of this blog and back to your travels! It was great to chat with you guys this weekend.
