Monday 21st April
Bank Holiday in Rio. Good sleep in, then spent most of the day reading before we headed out for an afternoon tour of the beaches. Abraham, his girlfriend and Rebekah came with us. We found Gaynor's favourite beach where she had a chance to relax and I wandered down the beach with the others. Amazed at how good Abraham's English is and hope he can soon put it to good use in a job. After reading a bit more trash walk up to the rocks with Gaynor before we head back via a couple more beaches and the supermarket (I love foreign supermarkets). We were going to watch a film but instead another early night as have to get up 530am tomorrow!
