Foz Du Iguazu
Me at the Brazilian side O.k. so before I begin to tell you about Iguaçu falls I have something to admit. Before I arrived in South America I had never even heard of Iguaçu falls but am really ashamed as they are the biggest waterfall in the World. In fact the comment in a lot of the guide books is they make Niagra look like a tipple.
The falls cross over 3 countries into Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay and actually compose of over 250 separate falls. The surrounding area is subtropical forest which is packed with exotic birds and wildlife.
I must say they are pretty spectacular with the Brazilian side showing panoramic views but the Argentinean side showing the shear ferocity of the falls.
