Hello,

After our visit to Rio de Janeiro we flew to Salvador ( Bahia ) and arrived around one o clock in the morning in a nice hotel in the old town Salvador. Next morning Jose took us to the central square and pointed out the main places to see or visit, we made the choise to visit the church of San Francisco and the annexing museum, interesting to see. We are glad the hotel has a little swimmingpool, so we enjoyed the water in the afternoon. Folkloric show in the evening after a good meal was an extreme experience, singing and dancing and a lot of people practising capoeira at a speed, just unbelievable, maybe Patrick, my judoteacher, could be as fast...

Hallo,

Na het bezoek aan Rio bracht het vliegtuig ons naar Bahia, Salvador, en na middernacht konden we intrekken in ons hotel. Onze begeleider nam ons s morgens mee naar het centrum om enkele plaatsen te duiden, wij bezochten de kerk San Franciscus met bijhorend museum. Na de middag waren we blij met het kleine zwembadje in het hotel, want het is hier goed warm. De folklore show s avonds was echt wawh, zingen en dansen, veel gespierde stylos die capoeira uitvoerden aan een ongelooflijke snelheid, misschien zou Patrick, mijn judogenoot dat even snel kunnen...
