There was a crazy Israeli guy who insisted on Salsa lessons in the desert. So, we partnered up and danced for a bit. My partner, the driver, had never danced salsa before so it worked out great, because I SUCK!

These mines are actually made by the salt miners. The work is very difficult and the miners get paid practically nothing to mine the salt.

This cactus is hundreds of years old.

Stayed at a hostal just outside of the Salar de Uyuni where our beds, tables and the floor was made entirely of salt.
