Ahh Bariloche, after our mammoth journey to get to this point, we were enjoying being back in Argentina.
We booked into the Marco Polo hostel, a excellent place to stay which also has free dinner as well as breakie. This hostel was also one of the warmest we stayed in out the trip, very cosy.

We had a great nights sleep the first night, probably down to all the bus travelling we had been doing.
Bariloche is part of the lake district of Argentina, it also has skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports.
The town is very much like the Austrian or Swiss towns in the Alps with some beautiful scenery.

We had hoped to get down to Patagonia but as we had only a week left before we headed to Oz and it been the end of winter, we were told we might get there but we would have to turn back straight away. It being winter some of the roads were closed as they were impassable.

We decided to chill out for a few days, enjoy the nice warm room we had and the great Argentinean food and hospitality,

So we said we would take a trip over to Purto Madrian so go whale watching.
