K and I during the fast boat ride at the falls before getting drenched!

Katharine, Cheryl (our friend visiting from London) and I took a flights over the weekend and visited Iguazu falls which we have heard so much about from our family and friends.
We found a great hostel called Hostel Inn which had hotel amenities and a huge kidney shaped swimming pool which we spent quite a few hours under the sun.

Iguazu falls was simply breathtaking and no matter how many pictures we took of it, we could not capture the beauty and power of its amazing presence. You have to be there to enjoy it....

All I can say is that it was worth a visit and do take the fast boat ride as it was one of the highlights of the trip.
