ignauzu falls
on way to river had to be out by 6.45 as we had a 8.15 flight to iguazu falls, we got to the airport ok as its almost in the centre of the city, we had already booked in online but still had to put the bag in the hold as it had shampoos etc in, which seems such a waste, does that mean people with only hand luggage dont wash ??
we arrived in igauzu ay about 10 and got a cab straight to the hotel,we chucked the bags in the room and made straight for iguazu national park.
we got a cab to the park and the cab driver insisted he knew what the best thing to do at the falls was. I had already made my mind up that we were going to have a stroll around the falls and decide what rides etc we would do the next day, also we didnt have any towels or trunks with us so couldnt really afford to get soaked, yup you guessed it rose decided we were going to do the jungle tour through the jungle down to the river and then 7 kms along the river through the rapids and finally the boat was

there are toucans in the tree driven into the falls, i mean right under them, i couldnt have been wetter if i was under the bloody thing, some youngsters were cheering the bloody driver on and on and i swear he must have gone under them 3-4 times.
anyway the boat pulled up and slung us off onto the bank where we had to drag ourselves up the steep banks carrying our soaking belongings, we made it up to the top and managed to get to a cake where i bought some grub and some drinks, i slipped down to my boxers and sat feeding a bloody racoon type thing another one turned up and the pair of them were fighting over the food on my bloody legs, they tore bloody great gashes in my leg so i obviously looked very attractive strolling along in my billy smarts pants with blood running down my legs, we decided to call it a day and get the train back to the entrance.
the falls themselves were absolutely breathtaking, we saw and drove under the san martin area of the falls and it really is a sight to behold, there are 270 odd separate falls which are up to
