I feel like so much has happened since our last blog entry from Japan. Our most recent trip was to the Thai province of Kanachanaburi where the River Kwai is located. This area of Thailand is very beautiful - hilly with lots of forest, rivers, etc. The trip we went on was an Embassy-sponsored tour, which was great because we didn't have to do anything other than show up at the bus.
