We left Chalon-sur-Saone at 7:30AM and had a very pleasant trip on the Saone River stopping in Macon at 1:50PM – a short day with only going through one lock today, but we did have to wait for a while to let a commercial barge go through first. Like so many others we love to travel and we love to sail so cruising makes a lot of sense. Janice has retired from Cornell as a business manager and Bob has retired from South Seneca school district as the high school principal.
