Our trip to Central America began as we flew in to Liberia, Costa Rica on Jan 31st. The airport is actually more like an open-air barn and it is only big enough to handle one flight at a time. James' Aunt Diane picked us up from the airport and drove us to her and John's home at Playa Hermosa on the Pacific Coast, about 20 minute's drive from Liberia. Sandra and James are planning a low budget trip around the world! We left Canada on January 31, 2007 and headed to Costa Rica to visit James' Aunt and Uncle, as well as visit the rest of the country. We will also spend some time in Nicaragua before Sandra returns to China to finish studying Mandarin. James will continue travelling in Central America until June, 2007 and then go to China where we will continue travelling together again. With no definite destination or schedule we have decided to bum around the world for as long as we can stretch our funds.... full info
