Bucharest's 'Champs Elysees' built by Ceaucescu. The main boulevard that leads to the Presidential Palace was deliberately made 6m longer than the actual Champs Elysees.

"Always catch a bus if you can", said the guy at the hostel in Veliko Tarnovo. Shame there no buses to Bucharest then. Only trains.
