The entrance to the Cumberland River

We turned right off the Ohio onto the Cumberland River for a short 33 miles before going up 47 feet into Barkley lock and Barkley Lake. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
