Riddle: How does an American woman with long blonde hair blend in when surrounded by Nicaraguans? Answer: She doesn´t. Even with the hair pulled up under a sombrero (which incidentally makes matters worse... Nicaraguans don´t wear sombreros). I might have been better off with a ponytail.
