Welcome to Matlacha and Pine Island. We love this place although friends sampling this southwestern Florida destination admit they don’t get it. A “drive by” just doesn’t suffice. We are a couple, now in our early 70's, traveling in a 34" Holiday Vacationer Motor Home. Wes is a GE pensioner who just ended a 50 + year career, most recently consulting with the company.
