So bought a train ticket to Kandy for Monday.... 1st class, 3hr journey.... 500 rupees.... Roughly 2 pounds! Turned out to be air con and everything! Although after a couple of hours was actually too cold... Amazing views after a few hours of going up... All the doors imbetween the carriages open... People hanging out all the way along the train!
