This big green beast was keeping its handlers on their toes: it stretched and pranced in the wind and several times looked as though it was going to snatch someone out of the crowd and gobble them up for lunch.

Kiwis aren't so flightless after all... In March 2006 my best friend and I took off on a road trip across the United States. We drove in a large zig zag across the continent, had an amazing time and kept everyone in touch by writing about our adventures on our travelblog - Jenny and Ju.
