Vandaag was vooral een dag van 'net niet'. We zijn de dag begonnen bij een uitkijkpunt, bij Cabrillo National Monument. Dit is het punt waar de eerste Europeanen voet hebben gezet in California in 1542. Het kijkt uit over de hele baai van San Diego en tot voorbij de grens met Mexico waar de stad tegenaan ligt.
