I'm not sure what I overindulged on but I was not feeling very receptive to entertaining the rest of the night. Since Cassie was already passed out in her bed and I was firmly ensconced on the Porcelain Throne, Gail and her mother soon left and looked for a more entertaining way to ring in the New Year.

Happy Birthday to me. I suppose this was a milepost as I turned 60 today and that monumental achievement was the whole reason I got to choose the itinerary for this trip, but it really seemed like just any other day to me when we woke up.
