Elusive Yuk

Finally we spotted these group of Yuks, we have been trying to spot one for the last two days. There were none to be seen in Leh town. Yuks are a quiant variety of cows with long hairs hanging upto the floor. They have a rather doppy expression in their faces and move very very slowly. Their milk is used to make Yuk butter by the Tebitians. They also use the churned yuk butter to Yuk-butter tea, its a mix of butter and black tea with a dash of salt. Its more of a soup than a tea !
Changla Pass & Pangyong lake

We wanted to go to a lake called Pangong and that took us over the top the world and third highest motoring road on earth at 5300 meters - Changla Pass. Pangong is 60KM from there.
