Siyabuswa is a place of contrasts. There are some new developments which are changing it, but there is still much of the old and the poor. It is a dusty place at this time of year so children walk in the roads to keep their shoes clean before school. St. Andrew's School Grace Team

We are a team of eight pupils and two staff from a famous Berkshire prep school, embarking on an adventure far from home as we visit our partner school The Grace in the South African town of Siyabuswa. Our school has been supporting The Grace for nine years and has sent out a team every alternate year since 2007. We now have twelve children being sponsored there, and we are raising money to build them an Early Years Centre--team members are doing all they can get sponsored themselves, as well as organising events at school like a charity hockey tournament and a talent show, with more to follow... full info
