Glad the sides held

This picture and the next show the area where I-80 was closed in summer 2008 due to floods. We almost had to redirect that trip down to I-70, but the road was repaired by the time we got there.
Day 2 - IL, MO, IA, NE

Today was pretty easy and tonight we are staying at a nice Residence Inn on the south side of Lincoln, NE. Although I had a Trip Tik by AAA printed before the trip, our Garmin suggested a different route today that was 50 miles shorter than the AAA route. We decided to go for it, and it worked out well.
