Leaving Queenstown behind us, we are now heading north back up the south island and our next stop was Lake Tekapo. Our first break of the day was at a supermarket, where the driver encouraged us to buy food for the next couple of days, as we were off to 'wup-wup' (aka the middle of nowhere). We are taking a year to travel around Southeast Asia. We fly out to Australia on the 17th Dec and will spend Christmas and New Year staying with family in Sydney. We are then going to fly to Auckland and spend a couple of months in New Zealand before returning to a round tour of Australia for another couple of months. By May time we should be back in Sydney and will then plan the rest of the tour of countries including Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam...
