Singapore - The Orchid Gardens shouldn't be mist

Who bought the "fake" pants then?
Love the bling of the twin towers! Also the orchid garden must be amazing, shame the hedechiums were not in flower too.

Singapore - The Orchid Gardens shouldn't be mist

We would have been glad of the fake pants, as this morning we almost lost our clothes, when the washing lady had given them away to someone else! It was really lucky that we went back for a second load. I had to lookup hedechiums as you are wow-ing me with your plant knowledge. I think Hazel was disappointed that the ginger flowers were not out, but I still stand by the fact that the best use of ginger is in a 'dark and stormy' :)

Margaret River - tumble weed on the beach

Your photos are getting arty! There's some brilliant ones here. Although I don't like the giant rat. I am unconvinced that it is a mini kangaroo and think it just told you that so it sounds cuter.

Margaret River - tumble weed on the beach

Well he hopped like a kangeroo...although he could have just been pretending for the cameras!
26th April 2013

As much as I would love to head out there and join the travelling lifestyle hadn't really planned for it and not sure work would let me...think I will have to stick to Vietnam only!

Hi guys That was a really long blog.....had to finish reading it after work as it took so long to read. But it sounds great. Incidently - nice tan Mark!! Thats a real farmer tan you have there - congrats It all looks very remote over in the West - much like Tasmania. How long does it take to cover the distances as you have some pretty big km's mentioned in your blog?
25th April 2013

Thanks big man. I can send you another private collection for your coasters if you are interested? The van would do 110kmph, but if it was windy or a roadtrain went past then we had to slow down to 90. I can't believe how big Australia is...
