Took yesterdaymorning the 7.30 ferry to Helsinki. Arrived at 9.30 and took a taxi to the Glo hotel Art near the centre. Fortunately they had already a room available. Starting price of a taxi in Helsinki is euro 5,90 . Asked the driver if that was the fixed price to the hotel. It was not. In my previous life I worked for a more or less big company. Since about 8 years travelling is one of the things I try to do as much as possible. Every year I try to make at least one big trip by train. I did already the Orient expres route in normal trains, all the trains in Australia. Around Scandinavia and last year around UK.
