We were really looking forward to sailing through the Panama Canal and had no idea what to expect. We anchored off the coast of Panama City at about 11 pm and woke up to find ourselves surrounded by other ships, all cargo ships and a very misty Panama City which is all skyscrapers and looked like Gotham City in the mist.
