Hi Sal and Col, lovely to read your news and Sally belated very very happy birthday and congratulations on joining the 60s club, we are the coolest gang in town! As always I so enjoy reading about your trip and the people you meet. You even make the weather interesting! Enjoy the rest of your stay and take care. love Monica
What a way to celebrate being 60 Bottle of wine and some choccies sounds like the perfect way to celebrate 60. Lovely to see the fabulous blue lakes / sky - not so sure about the wall of snow and the white out behind Col.
Mr Glass Half-Full Hi Sal and Col. Excellent update - amazing shots - flip flops and snow. Drinking fizz at 11am sounds like a tough time ;-) Really enjoyed the post (through gritted teeth!) You missed a great MAy DAy bank holiday in Wokingham though...You can't have it all. Nicholas
Fill up your glasses!! Fantastic story so far, Sal and Col - thanks. Spectacular scenery, adventure, a bit of chaos and disaster and tons of fun .. it's got it all! My advice to you both is to fill up your glasses, be Mr and Mrs Bloody Full-to-the-Brim and continue trooping on!!
Part 2 - Wow! A fantastically descriptive piece-we really felt we were with you! What an adventure you're having! You didn't mention how the skiing went!
Thank you for making me laugh!! Wow, again! Amazing photos and a brilliant blog. Made me laugh out loud [which worried the dogs as they don't hear that too often!!]. You are an extremely entertaining writer Sally so thank you and I hope you carry on having a great time and find more amenable roads!! xxx
So much in so little time OMG only a few days and you have done sooo much. Amazing. Love to hear what you are up to. Think by the time your birthday arrives
you are going to be knackered and ready for a break. Keep it going love & hugs xxx
Brilliant and really interesting Hi kids, Glad you are having such a good time and thank you for including me in the blog recipients. Really cheered me up so loads of hugs and I hope you carry on having fun!! xxxxx

Carry on enjoying yourselves, look forward to the next instalment.
Hi Enjoying your amusing blog and hearing about places we are unlikely to ever visit! Loved pink curler lady! Thanks for my cool Birthday card. How did you manage that! Love Jane & Daryl
Pink curlers! I guess it was the only one she had! It is an amazing place, every day is another WOW! Hope you had a good birthday, I have a card posting neighbour for all prepared cards! See you next month. X
Brilliant.... Great news you're blogging again SalCol. The last few have been great and we live in anticipation of the next. The pics are great too, and we're looking forward to the full slide show on your return. Try not to get eaten, bitten or scalped (but if you are make sure we get the photos)... Cheers Bill and Sue
Slide show Thank god for digital cameras, we would need to take out a mortgage to develop the amount we have taken. Promise we will sort them out before we bore you as we would all be drunk as skunks if we drank our way through this lot!
Awesome...... Really really enjoying your Blog! Photos are fabulous-Monument Valley particularly. Descriptions are great-food and drink (or lack of in parts!) taking up time- mints for breakfast washed down with water sounded yummy!! Continue to enjoy the whole experience and keep going with the Blogs -really terrific! XX
National Parks It is an awesome place, every day brings a new wonder! Can't remember if you have been out here, I am sure you have, totally different America than visiting cities. Currently in Zion, blisteringly hot, 100+ yesterday, off to Moab today so quite a long journey.
Big hugs, (though not too close as too sticky!!!)
