Heute war der zweite Teil der Sightseeingtour dran. Diesmal ging es in den Westen der Stadt, wo unter anderem der Torre de Belém, ein Leuchtturm von 1521, das Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, ein Kloster von 1544 und das Padrão dos Descobrimentos, das Denkmal der Entdeckungen von 1960, das an die Zeit der Entdeckungen und der damaligen Persönlichkeiten erinnern soll.
