6th January – 13th February 2011 We arrived into Cairns airport late at night and headed straight to Port Douglas where we checked into the Parrotfish Lodge Hostel – not one of the better ones we’ve stayed in. Fortunately, Helen and David were staying at the Peninsula Boutique Hotel which had a lovely big pool area and overlooked the beach so much of our time was spent there. Port Douglas ... read more
