Wicken Fen nature reserve is thought to have been one of the earliest nature reserves that had been established and developed in England. It is located between Cambridge and Ely, and is managed by the National Trust. The nature reserve is home to a wide variety of birds and wildlife, over a thousand species of butterfly and dragonfly.
