My dad had just watched 'the mummy' and was obsessed with Scarabs. They were used to replace the heart during the mummification process.
Luxor, Sinai Penninsula, and the parting of ways

My dad, brother, and I took off the next morning for Luxor via the train. The journey was approximately three hours down the Nile.
