Am 13 Oktober ging es endlich los. Endlich wurde unser Traum war - die Reise quer durch Australien zum Urluru. Uns erster Zwischenstopp war Coober Pedy. Dieser Ortsname ist abgeleitet von dem Aboriginal-Begriffs „kupa piti “ – was so viel heißt wie „weißer Mann im Loch“. Es ist die "Opal-Hauptstadt der Welt“, dies kommt unter anderem daher dass ca 3/4 der weltweiten Funde von we ... read more
