Our first day in Avon was spent pretty much just waiting around for our room. We did stop at the Village Inn in Denver for breakfast. After that we did the two hour drive to Avon. It was really a very pretty drive. There were lots of ups and downs and some great scenery. We stopped acouple times. Once we took some pictures at a scenic overview near Frisco.
