We had a 6:30 am wakeup call for our flight over to Bangkok, but it wasn't that bad as we got to watch a bit of the Superbowl while we were getting ready. The flight was fine, clearing customs was a breeze and we were soon in a taxi to head into town as the new Suvarnabhumi airport (try pronouncing it, its actually pronounced su-wan-na-poom) is about 30km east of Bangkok.
