Zooming In Again

On this trip I am somewhat ashamed to admit that I took close to 1500 pictures. A lot of this nonsense was due to my unfamiliarity with the camera and because I wanted to make extra sure I got a "keeper" when I spotted something I deemed interesting. Here I took pictures using various zoom levels and I liked these two equally. Later on the trip I discovered the art of bracketing which means the camera automatically snaps 3 pictures at a time - one at the recommended exposure and one a notch below and the other a notch above. I think I deleted every single non-recommended exposure shot.

Flying over to Scotland was a breeze. Actually there was a definite lack of a breeze as the Gulf Stream seemed to have disappeared. El NiƱo was wreaking havoc with weather patterns both in the States and throughout Europe.
