Rio - Day Three - Marcelo July 20th 2006 Saturday evening I met up with my friend Marcelo. He actually lived in Edmonton last year at International House studying design at the UofA. We talked over msn and made plans to meet up with eachother. Days before leaving to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, on an IAESTE internship program a good friend of mine, Hugh, wrote in to Rex Murphy's Cross Country Check-up. He commented on the disagreement between the Prime Minister and the Ottawa Press Gallery using the word "circumlocutorily" (sound it out) to express the way Stephen Harper answered the press's questions. The word stumped Mr. Murphy, quoting "I'll have to get back to you on that one."
