Kate here... We've been chillaxing with our friends Audrey and Erin at their brand new house in Bakersfield for a couple of days. The air conditioning is tres fabulous, as is the company. We're Shay and Kate, a couple of 31 year old grrls who live in Atlanta, GA and who are very much in love with each other, travel, and the great outdoors.
As of June 12th, 2006, we, our two dogs (Emma and Bela), and our Subaru (packed with all the gear it can carry) are embarking on an epic 10 week road trip around the US. We'll be camping, hiking, backpacking, exploring, and visiting with family and friends.
